Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott signed a four-year, $240 million contract extension on September 25, 2024, marking the richest by average annual value in NFL history at $60 million per year.[1][2]
Prescott, 31, has started for the Cowboys since 2016 after being selected in the fourth round of the draft. He and his partner, fitness trainer Sarah Jane Ramos, welcomed their first child, daughter Margaret Jane "MJ" Prescott, on February 22, 2024.[3]
The couple, who went public with their relationship in late 2023, announced in July 2024 that they are expecting a second child.[4][5]
In the 2024 NFL regular season, Prescott has completed 214 of 306 passes for 2,205 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions through eight games played as of October 28.[6]
The Cowboys hold a 4-4 record and second place in the NFC East standings behind the 6-2 Philadelphia Eagles. They play home games at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.[6][7]
Dallas finished the 2023 season 12-5 but lost 48-32 at Green Bay in the NFC wild-card round.[8]
Prescott led the NFL in 2023 with 36 touchdown passes while throwing for 4,516 yards.[6]
